Influencing is proud to announce the finalists for the 20th Annual Samsung Australian IT Journalism Awards.
“Congratulations to all the finalists of the 20th anniversary Awards,” said Influencing CEO Phil Sim. “We received a huge number of entries with more than 40 entries in a couple of categories so all finalists can be very proud of the work that got them to the finalist stage.”
“We are looking forward to hosting a very special night in October, and celebrating all the amazing technology journalism produced last year, but also this milestone occasion for the Awards and the industry.”
The finalist lists can be viewed in full below, including our first ever Best Program category.
Please note coverage categories include all entrants as listed, while shortlisted finalists are announced for all individual/journalist categories, in alphabetical order.
The decision has also been made to split the finalist lists for Best Reviewer into individual gaming and consumer lists. There will be one Best Reviewer overall, and Highly Commended awards given to the best in the gaming and consumer sub-categories.
This year’s Lizzies are supported by Samsung, Enex TestLab, Watterson Marketing Communications, Amazon Web Services, Atlassian, Optus and Apptio.
The presentation night will take place on Friday, 21 October at Luna Park Sydney’s Crystal Ballroom.
All journalism entrants are now invited to RSVP for the awards presentation dinner, and should be receiving a link with which to do so shortly; as well as a form which can be used to nominate for the David Hellaby Best Media Relations award.
Tickets are now available on our website, and if you are planning on purchasing either individual tickets or a full table, please do so ASAP because we are anticipating a sellout for the Awards’ 20th anniversary.
Thank you to all our entrants for making our 20th annual awards the most contested to date. Congratulations and good luck to all of this year’s finalists - for those who did not receive a finalist berth, we hope you will still join us to support your IT journalism colleagues.
